AFTERCARE |
WAXING
- Avoid hot temperatures on the skin for 24 hours ie: swimming, hot bath or sun beds.
- Refrain from using perfumed products to the skin eg deodorants, antiperspirants
- Do not use self tanning products over the area for at least 24 hours.
- To minimise any redness or irritation you can apply a soothing after-wax lotion. This will also help to keep the area cool.
- Avoid touching the area and keep the area clean.
MASSAGE
- It is really important to drink water after a massage. Your body has experienced stimulations to all of your sytems ie:digestive, circulation and lymphatics and after massage your body will cotinue to try to flush out the toxins in your body. Water helps this to happen and at least 1.5 litres of water a day is recommended to make your body work more efficiently and give your body what it needs.
- After a firm massage initially you will feel loose and relaxed. Sometimes the following morning you may feel stiff so try to loosen your shoulders by rotating them.
FACIALS
- Avoid using make-up for a few hours to allow the products to benefit the skin. 4-8 hours.
- Avoid stimulants such as alcohol or caffeine.
- Carry on using the products at home or similar skin care routine advised.
